Sandy Boyd
Principal

Sandy has over 20 years of progressive management responsibility. She offers an array of strategic marketing expertise including P&L management, new product development, M&A activity, strategic planning, portfolio valuation, market research, international business development, process improvement, field engineering support, sales and training.

Prior to starting Volant Advisors, Sandy worked for the Pennsylvania IRC Network (part of the DCED and the NIST Hollings Manufacturer’s Extension Program) assisting smaller manufacturing companies in their top line growth efforts. Prior to the PA IRC Network, the majority of her career has been with Fortune 100 chemical companies in global specialty and commodity markets. Sandy has worked with a wide variety of industries internationally.

Sandy graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry. She also holds an MS from the University of Pennsylvania in Organizational Dynamics. She is an active participant on the Joseph Priestley Society Membership Board for the Chemical Heritage Foundation and is also a Boyle Society member.
